Mayank Ohri - MD, ABOM
Mayank Ohri is the medical director and founder of the Metabolite Clinic. He is a board-certified Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine specialist. Dr. Ohri further advanced his studies enrolling in an MBA program allowing for a broader understanding of health care systems, health disparities and innovation in healthcare.
Dr. Ohri completed his specialized Internal Medicine training in Miami, Florida and then transitioned to Michigan where he served as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Central Michigan University (CMU) for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He trained internal medicine residents and medical students from CMU and participated at grand rounds, didactics, academic conferences including research at the American College of Physicians (ACP) and presented at an international conference in Rome, Italy.
In 2022, Dr. Ohri transitioned back to Toronto, Canada and worked as part of the General Internal Medicine Division at Trillium Health Partners and Lakeridge Health. He continues to be involved in medical education as an Assistant Professor at Queen’s University. In 2023, he decided to open the Metabolite Clinic and has been actively working to transform and help his patient’s achieve their best health. Dr. Ohri believes tackling obesity and weight loss involves taking a unique multi-pronged approach to each patient and is continually working towards novel approaches to care.

Isabella Rodriguez - MPH, RD
Isabella is a Registered Dietitian licensed with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. She completed her undergraduate degrees at the University of Toronto in Human Biology, as well as at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) in Nutrition and Food. She went on to complete her Master of Public Health in Food and Nutrition at the University of Toronto, where she performed a clinical emphasis for her dietetic practicum.
Isabella has experience working at several of the University Health Network (UHN) hospitals in downtown Toronto, including Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital, and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and has also contributed to nutrition research at Sick Kids Hospital. She specializes in various clinical areas, including bariatrics/weight management, cardiology, and kidney disease. Having worked with dozens of patients ranging from youth to seniors, she uses a personalized approach to helping her clients manage their health conditions and/or improve their dietary habits by developing nutrition interventions that complement their unique lifestyle, preferences, and goals. Using evidence-based knowledge to guide her practice, she strives to help her patients optimize their health through food’s medicinal properties, simplifying the complex world of nutrition to empower them to make informed health choices.

Racha Rkein - MSW, RSW
Racha Rkein holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor and brings over nine years of experience supporting individuals through complex emotional and physical health challenges.
Racha specializes in helping individuals struggling with emotional eating, body image distress, disordered eating patterns, anxiety, and trauma. Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed, client-centred approach that integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and somatic-based practices. She has experience supporting clients through cycles of restriction, overeating, shame, and internalized weight stigma, and understands that eating-related challenges are rarely about food alone.
With a professional background in hospital and community mental health settings, Racha provides psychotherapy that considers the emotional, psychological, and physiological dimensions of care. She is particularly passionate about empowering clients to reconnect with their bodies, regulate emotional responses, and build self-compassion.
Informed by both clinical expertise and lived experience, Racha offers a warm and collaborative space where clients can explore the roots of their challenges and begin to move toward sustainable change, on their own terms.
